Each branch has one vault — the safe that holds the branch’s cash. Tellers draw their opening float from the vault and return cash to it at the end of the day.

  1. Open Tellering›Vault and click Add vault.
  2. Choose the branch (each branch can have only one vault) and enter the opening balance — the cash physically in the safe.
  3. Save.

Adjustments

Use Add adjustment to record cash entering or leaving the vault outside tellering — a deposit from the bank, or cash sent to the bank.

Important
Count the vault physically every day and compare with the balance on screen. Investigate any difference the same day.
