  1. Open the approved loan and click Disburse.
  2. Confirm the disbursed on date and first payment date — the repayment schedule is built from these.
  3. Choose the payment type (cash, M-Pesa, bank, or to the member’s savings or wallet) and enter the receipt or reference.
  4. Save. The loan becomes active, the schedule is generated and disbursement fees are collected.

Bulk disbursement

Select several approved loans (for example a whole group) and disburse them together.

Top-up

A top-up adds a further amount to an active loan. Enter the top-up amount and notes; it is approved and disbursed like a new loan, and the schedule is recalculated.

Undo disbursement

Use Undo disbursement only for a disbursement posted in error and before any repayment. It reverses the accounting and returns the loan to approved. To correct only the latest disbursement of a multi-tranche loan, use Undo latest disbursement.
