Templates for SMS and email to members — receipts, reminders and approvals.
Zung can message members when something happens on their account — a repayment is received, a deposit is made, a loan is approved or disbursed, or an instalment is coming due.
Editing a template
- Open .
- Choose the event.
- Edit the SMS text and/or email subject and body. Use the placeholder tags shown on the screen (member name, amount, balance, due date, institution name) — they are replaced with real values when the message is sent.
- Tick whether the template is sent automatically and save.
Tip
Keep SMS under 160 characters — longer messages are billed as several SMS. Avoid sending full account numbers by SMS.
SMS provider and bulk SMS
Connect your SMS provider in the notification settings. The CRM module adds bulk SMS and campaigns for messaging groups of members — for example everyone with an instalment due this week.
Members can unsubscribe from campaign messages; transactional messages such as receipts are still sent.
