Custom fields
Capture extra information your institution needs on members and accounts.
Custom fields let you record information Zung doesn’t have a built-in field for — a member’s cooperative society number, a group’s meeting venue, a branch’s regulator licence number.
- Open the custom fields screen and click Add.
- Choose which form the field belongs to (see the table below).
- Enter the field label shown to users, and choose its type.
- For select and radio fields, enter the options. Set whether it is required and any validation rules.
- Tick Active and save. The field appears on that form straight away.
Where a field can appear

Field types
Text field, text area, number, date, checkbox, radio buttons, select (drop-down) and select from database — a drop-down filled from an existing Zung list.
Tip
Only add fields you will actually report on. Every required field slows down member registration at the counter.
