Arrears
The amount that was due but hasn't been paid. Unlike PAR, it counts only the missed amounts, not the whole loan balance.
Example
A member misses two KES 2,000 instalments on a KES 30,000 loan: arrears are KES 4,000, but the full balance counts toward PAR.
